Capstone
We have set out on our most prestigious assignment of STEM. To be put simple, we must create something that could me made real. Something that could be aired on Shark Tank. We must utilize every aspect of our STEM careers so far, from physics to marketing. There is no higher test of our skills than to implement it into reality. My team consisted of myself, Wesley Fink, Max Leonard, and Anderson Teoh. It took us 2 days to come up with solutions for a great number of projects, ending on reducing pollution from the world's shipping. This project was decidedly way to large, and we elected to make tools out of pykrete, an ice alloy. Pykrete is as strong as concrete, but nearly as light as its base ice, all for the cost of a few pounds of saw dust! I expect these will be used in every area south of 0C! Not only is it sustainable, but it can produce tools even stronger than 3D printed. The remainder of this page will be used to record all of our progress up until now. Now, I'm no investor, but I'd put stock in Project Icebreaker!

Concepts to explore
While it is too early to confirm, I suspect we will be working with a number of physics concepts, over anything else.
Ice alloy: An alloy made up of water and a second material.
Melting: The process of moving from a solid to a liquid.
Impact force: The amount of energy transferred when two objects collide.
Tensile Strength: The ability of a material to flex without breaking.

Reflection
While I am saddened that we did not build a boat out of pykrete like the canadians before us, I think that pykrete tools could change the world. I am glad to be working with such a diverse yet highly productive team. I must admit, Wesley and Anderson are doing great work for this team. Their ability to lead and plan on the fly are beyond even me. I will seek to ask for their guidance, failing that, inspiration.
