I know what you're asking:"The heck is homeostasis?!" Well, its my job to explain it! The human body is pretty sturdy, we used to persistence hunters after all. Humans can outrun nearly any animal in an endurance race, we can loose nearly a third of our body weight before major issue begin! We can survive disco music! The human body is pretty sturdy from an external view, but it really can't take much interior change. Too hot enzymes stop working, too cold and your body can't function. If you don't have enough oxygen, death. If you don't have enough water, death. You get the picture. Homeostasis is the place where the body is happy and functional! At about 37C, the body works! The body works hard so that nothing, and I mean NOTHING, interferes with its normal function. homeostasis involves a ton of different bodily processes, that I really don't have time to go over, but my group went over a wonder thing called body ph. What fallows is my groups work!

Very useful terms
Lungs: Organs that work to exchange gasses between the atmosphere and the body.
Kidneys: Organs that filter water and waste from blood to create urine.
Homeostasis: The optimal condition for the human body to function.
PH (potential hydrogen): A measure of a substances acidity, lower being more acidic.
Alkaline: A substance that is the opposite of acidic.
Independent variable: Usually the part of an experiment that is modified by the researchers
Dependent variable: A variable that reacts to the IV.
Controlled variable: A variable that does not change between experiments

Reflection
During this project, I definitely h**ked up good few times. At the start, I tried to micromanage the group. I thought they were constantly off topic and didn't care about the work. I could not have been more wrong. After a good talking to, for all of us, that changed. My partners got to work, and generally did very well. I made it a point to ease off controlling the assignment. I think this project has changed me.
